GIVE PEACE A CHANCE

Gazing speechless, mourning hour,
I can feel it, threat approaches.
Venom chosen to devour,
Ever human hate advances.

Powerless and yet not hopeless,
Eloquence! oh! guide my way!
Another light goes out, relentless,
Call of sorrow ends the day.
Ended freedom on command,

A game of snakes keeps moving further.

Children! Grow to understand,
How war is nothing more than murder.
And yet instinct seeks for kindness,
Neither lost nor burdensome.
Choose to end these times of darkness!
Empathy must overcome
