Hi Cielo Urselli, what`s your routine at the moment?

The cat wakes me up, I feed her and only after that I can have my breakfast. Then I do a meditation and if there are waves I go surfing… I love surfing and skating. I also like to listen to a record in the morning. I don’t know if this is a routine. As Leonard Cohen says: “I stumble out of bed, I get ready for the struggle.”

What`s now particularly important for all of us?

To breathe.

New start, new beginning. What will be essential and which roles will art play on society?

Awareness, kindness and sincerity. And art can be a sincere form of self expression.

If you’re talking about covid, I haven’t seen any new beginning; things haven’t changed much, they just got worse. You can see it everywhere you look. Look at wars. Wars begin with our own behaviors, in our own life. There’s no need to look far away. Being truly aware and taking care of our own behavior and of the wars we may cause in our small way, only then peace might really have a chance. Amen.

What are you reading currently?

I read a lot, but right now nothing, unfortunately.
