Void the neverending dark and unforgiving void

Even at the expense of your own comfort your ego that begs

Even for a moment

And when that moment

Comes if it comes when that spark is met by a kindred flame that lights up your small corner of the world and seems to burn for

Ever

As much as the uncertainty the unlikelihood may kill you and want you to close that gate build that wall, if we are to stand a fighting chance we must find the

Courage to reach down again and again and show the world our

Hearts your spark my truth

And maybe then peace can begin to grow maybe even thrive it will

Not always be easy it will not always seem possible but isn’t that what makes us human what we‘ve proven time and time again despite all odds despite ourselves we

Can create change, maybe

Even peace.

Clara Montocchio _ Sängerin, Schauspielerin, Tänzerin, Komponistin

Zur Person _  Clara Montocchio, Wienerin mit südafrikanischen Wurzeln, spannt als Sängerin, Schauspielerin und Tänzerin sowie Komponistin gekonnt Brücken zwischen verschiedenen Genres und Kunstrichtungen. In einer musikalischen Familie aufgewachsen, konnte sie sich von ihren Anfängen in der Klassik übers Musiktheater schließlich als aktives Mitglied der österreichischen Jazz- und Klezmer/”World Music”-Szenen etablieren. Aktuell studiert sie Popgesang (IGP) an der Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien. Im Herbst 2024 erscheint ihr Debut Folk-Pop Album „My Vreemde Kind“.
