Hi Claudio Parentela, what`s your routine at the moment?

For more than 25 years now I have chosen to live my freedom every day, I have chosen to follow what my heart told me and wanted… every day, all the days, I draw, I paint, I cut, I sew, I glue, I photograph. It’s a magic that happens every day, and that I chose to happen. A colorful and in black and white catharsis. I need only of my books, my music, my colors and everything begins on time… by magic? No ,because I chose freedom

What`s now particularly important for all of us?

See my cheerful madness in my works, always have fun with me. Art is a game, it is the language that speaks all languages, that crosses all borders, that overcomes all obstacles, it is word, thought, color, emotion

New start, new beginning. What will be essential and which roles will art play on society?

Art is vital, essential, especially today in these terrible, chaotic days. Art is universal love, it is the word that resolves all conflicts, it is gesture, caress, smile, kiss… it is the thought that unites all divisions. It is warmth where there is only frost. It is play, a splendid game for adults and children
